Amazon heart Thunder 2009
In the Autumn of 2009, Pat Adams, our Secretary and Ladies of Harley Rep, travelled to the States to take part in Amazon Heart Thunder, a special road trip to raise awareness of breast cancer.
The week-long ride, from Los Angeles to San Francisco, was made on Harley Davidsons, which some of the ladies that shared the experience with Pat had never ridden before.
In addition to visiting some of the classic Californian sights and sharing some special experiences along the way – many of which seemed to have involved food! – the ladies were also raising money for the Amazon Heart Charity. Pat herself raised a fantastic £2,500+, some of which was pledged by Chapter members.
