RTTW Poem of Remembrance from a biker (John Fitzmaurice)

Remembrance Poem
I belive this will have a special meaning to those that were their!

The drone seemed louder now,
As if it came from a Heavenly plough,
It rose to thunder, as he saw them arrive.
To remember those lost, and those that survive.

A trickle at first, which rapidly grew,
To a surge, a Torrent, in every view,
The rumble reduced, as they parked one by one,
To a silence of respect, for the place they had come,

He knew that by now, that he was not on his own,
But the bikers had come, with a thunderous drone,
From all parts of the UK, for this special day, to pay their respects, to the names on the hill,
And those that live on, through medical skill.

He is no longer alone, as he stands on the hill,
Two thousand riders, around him now will,
Remember his friends, and their names he'll recall,
when they answered the call, with a RIDE TO THE WALL.
