Hi Guys,
Sadly I missed Bisley this year due to a back injury at work, I had been recently informed by Eamon (Scrote) Shaw about the above event which is being organised by Nene Valley Chapter, and naturally this is very close to my heart, having lost many of my Para Comrades in one conflict or another (when I served my Queen and Country) up to and including Afghanistan.
I will be attending a Military Service this Thursday at 1400hrs. at The Garrison Church in Aldershot then on to The Military Cemetery for one of our youngest members, Private Peter Couter, age 20 of 2 Para, recently killed in Afghanistan.
It is my intention to visit The Arboretum in the next two weeks to make my own personal Pilgrimage to honour my Para Comrades.
check out the website at www.rttw.co.uk it gives the full information about this planned event.
There is also another website for Help for Heroes for those that wish to purchase a wristband personally, or they can be ordered in bulk. their website address is www.helpforheroes.org.uk
Please visit the website and order your wristband, ' WEAR IT WITH PRIDE ' and Remember,' THESE ARE OUR BOYS '
Best Regards,
Ride Safe,

Hi Phil,
I just wanted to post a word of thanks for a great day out yesterday :-)
The organisation was 1st class, the timings for the pick-ups were spot on and it was a really good day (and we didn't get lost once) :-).
It was terrific to see so many bikes and be riding amoungst them.
As one memeber said to me on the way home "what a great day, we have been riding from dawn until dusk"
Once again thank you for all the effort you put in.
Cheers,
Paul (Yellow Sportster Low)

Hi David, (Spud)
I have been doing some digging!
We should be leaving the last pickup @ around 9.00am @ Cherwell Valley Services on the M40 & travelling up the A43 to Towcester to join the A5 hopefully to arrive @ Tamworth around 10.30 am , I will be going straight to the petrol station as I'm on a Sportster! It might be a good idea if you are there before me to wait there for me ( I have a rubber HOG on the front of my bike a blue Sportie). Phil

Thanks for that Phil, I have had to cancel my plans as far as coming from Leicester, so I'll now be travelling from home, is anyone meeting up at WAMSAD ? as it would be better for me, failing that, I'll meet up with you at Cherwell Services, I'll be there by 0845 approximately, I'll be leaving home at 0700hrs. I'll e-mail you to this effect as a second precaution.
Best Regards,

Hi Phil,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I know that we have kept in touch via mobile, but it's not the same as posting a reply on our Chapter website for all to see to know what an excellent job that you did, VERY WELL DONE, and THANK YOU.
I've been having problems over the past couple weeks with my Internet connection, and thankfully, all has now been resolved, thankfully, and hopefully, all is now well.
I'm not sure if any of the guys that attended the RTTW weekend are aware that there are a good few photographs on The Veterans website at www.theveterans.co.uk also, I received a DVD from Barry Turner, Barry is the official photographer of The National Forces Arboretum, he has taken over 350 photo's of the day's event, and they are absolutely awesome, you can order a copy of the photo's from Barry at, barry@puffindigital.fsnet.co.uk
Another date for your diary's guys, is The Southsea Para Spectacular next year 2009 (obviously) 4/5th. July, another one not to be missed.
Best regards,
Ride safe,
Spud.
