Ladies of Harley

Welcome to the Ladies of Harley

Ladies of Harley is an informal group within the Chapter. Its aim is to look after the interests of lady members of the Chapter, keep them informed and involved, and represent them at committee level.

LoH also organises events that encourage everyone to get together and have fun, without necessarily being on bikes! All the events are for ALL members, not just women. It’s just that some events might appeal more to some than others!

As a pillion or partner, lady rider (or an aspiring one!), you are welcome to come along to any events that either the ladies or boys arrange. Likewise, your partner is welcome on any events that the ladies organise - as long as they realise that it’s an event organised by the ladies. So if it’s a trip to Burford for example, then the ladies riding bikes, pillions and car drivers/passengers are welcome too. As are any gentlemen who wish to join us.

I would love to hear of any events that you think would be good for us to attend, i.e. cinema, theatre, pubs etc. Please don’t leave it all up to me, I am here to represent you and your interests, so I welcome your ideas to help me plan and promote our activities.

I can come up with ideas for things that I want to do but they are no good if no one wants to join in with me. Also if you fancy doing something weird or wonderful - within reason -like jumping out of an airplane, walking 10k or riding 1,000 miles all in the aid of our charity then let’s give it a go!

Additionally, if there are any questions you may have about the club, rides or events that you would like to ask, from a female perspective please get in touch.

Each badge represents a year of her membership and we think she's probably our longest serving lady member.

Details on any up and coming events will be posted on the club website through the forums or in the chapter magazine. If you aren’t able to access the forum please ask your partner to do it for you or ask Fred, the membership officer for your own log in.

However, to make it easier for us to keep in touch, I am compiling a list of email addresses which I can add you to if you would like. So please send your details any questions you may have to me at ladiesofharley@thamesvalleyhog.org.uk
